So you'll all no doubt be thrilled to hear that I am in a much better mood today. I must admit though it was tentative this morning has to how long the good mood would last for after my train chugged all the way into London (and therefore making me late for work...nothing really unusual there!) but also meaning that I didn't get time to go to Marks & Spencer and get on of their yummy 'Count on Us Chilli Con Carne and Rice' for lunch...I'd been gearing up to it since last night...its a big deal! 'Still..'I thought as I paid extortionate amounts of money to get a cab from the station to work 'I can pop out at lunchtime and get food'.
What a fool I am!
After sitting here for about an hour wondering why it was so quiet, I realised...every single person in my department is off today...except for me.
So instead of a lovely hot bowl of chilli I have eaten the yuckiest pre-packed ham salad sarnie from the petrol garage next to work (its the closest place and I didn't have time to go any further!) Dammit!
Thankfully today has been busy in a constant flow kind of way rather than a headless chicken kind of way so my stress levels are significantly lower than yesterday!
Skanky
I seem to have developed some kind of weird allergic reaction to the watch and silver ring I wear EVERY FRIGGIN' DAY! I have red blotches on my finger and wrist that I just can't stop scratching....I hope I don't have some nasty skin disease that means my hands will fall off or something!
Gold Membership looms
Now I may have had you fooled here coz I don't mean in the Diaryland sense, I mean in the Weight Watchers sense. Another half a pound lost last night, 7 to go. Yippee! My aim is to give myself a Christmas present of being able to wear a size 10 (an 8 in American sizing) for my work Christmas do on the 20 December...*crosses fingers*. Thankfully the aching from the gym has stopped now so I am going back tonight to inflict more pain on myself! Hopefully I'll be able to move tomorrow!
