Damn Im being slack in writing since I got back! I guess thats coz I dont really have too much to say.
Monday night I crashed out at about 9pm thinking I would get lots of lovely sleep and then wake up refreshed on Tuesday morning. Well I woke up alright. Trouble was it was 3.30am and after an hour of tossing and turning and winding myself up coz I couldnt get back to sleep I gave up, got up, read the end of my book, watched breakfast TV, ate toast, ironed clothes and arrived in work at 7.50am. Would have been good if I hadnt have been ready for sleep again by about 3pm!!
Work have turned into the gestapo and have banned all personal calls and are monitoring them all so I dont even get my daily harassment from Si anymore.could the days possibly drag on anymore.
Aside from that a 14 building project landed on my desk this afternoon and people are about to start going mental over it demanding that things got done yesterday and I may have to be a witness in a court case. Not bad for only my third day back!
For now though I am contemplatingdo I go to the leaving drinks that are on tonight and get ratted or do I go home and do my ironing like a good girl?? I think I know which is the better option actually.ironing it is..NOT!
Other than that the rest of the week is gonna be quiet but I will save my energy for the weekend. Bec and I are hitting the town on Saturday night to party like mad people and Sunday avo the parentals and sibling and kiddywinks are coming over (Ali be warned there will be small children in the fishflat). My nephew is now crawling and making weird grunting noises as he does it and is eating anything in sight. Usually helping himself to the brekkie cereal out of the cupboard, or anything on the floor that he can find hes not fussy! I wonder what he will make of Ernie (the kangaroo) and Deirdre (the Platypus)!!
Then Wifey and I have to get into training. Yes, you heard righttraining. For some unknown reason we decided that it would be amusing to do a 26-mile powerwalk through London, starting at midnight at the beginning of Mayin our bras! Its to raise money for breast cancer charities. Playtex sponsor it and provide everyone with bras, caps, t-shirts and gloves that you can customise. (What is our team-name by the way Al?!)
Can you believe that we have put our names down to do this?! Madness I tell youcomplete madness! Were just waiting on confirmation that we are in at the moment. What an interesting piccie page that could make Fishies in Undies!!
