Cos and I went to see Cat on a Hot Tin Roof at the Lyric last night and although it was nice to see the rather lovely Brendan Fraser in his boxers the play itself wasnt all that hot. We left at 10.15pm when the second interval started and went for a nice romantic stroll down Regent Street to look at the lights and to reminisce on what a shop-whore Cos used to be (in that she has worked in quite a few shops and pubs London - not that she used to stand in shops offering herself to strangers for 20 quid or anything like that!)
It ended up taking us ages to get home coz some inconsiderate sod threw themselves under a train at Redbridge and the central line got suspended while we were on it. Now dont get me wrong, I think its awful that someone can get that desperate that they think the only way to out is to throw themselves under a passing train, but it always seems to be when Im trying to get to work, home from work, or home from a night out and we ended up on the mainline train that was like a mobile take-away. I kid ye noteveryone on the train (bar me and Cos) were eating chips, or burgers, or KFC or coleslaw (?). It smells, it makes me feel sick, and I dont like it!
So last night I ate my first piece of chocolate for 8 days last night. Ive tried to cut down on sweets and choccie and crap like that and I ate a finger of fudgenot because I particularly wanted it or was craving it but my body was crying out for a sugar-rush before I passed out! Still its doing some good..3 pounds lost this week equivalent to a Yellow Pages - yay me!!
Anyway, its shout day as ever (dont they just come round too quickly?!) so here goes:
Wifey: Have fun shopping, dont spend too much money..remember you have to buy me a ginormous Chrimbo pressie!
Dood: Because I have nothing to say to you.eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!
Cassie: Be a good girl this weekend, let your poor mum and dad get some decent sleep!
Effel: Ive called the men in white coatstheyll be round on Sunday about 5.30pm. What size straitjacket do you need? Small or medium?!!
Lou: An ISA and a pension?! Girl thats far too grown-upI thought I was responsible for having a pension! And you mentioned a term I am unfamiliar with..ssssss.savings? Could you explain that one to me please!!
Ms-M: Pleeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssssssseeee?! I promise not to tell Cossie where you liveplease save me!
Lee and Erica: A week tomorrow.eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee to you two as well! Hope you have a fabby time togethergood luck!
Jamie Oliver: Thanks for the tip on the cold remedyhavent tried it yet but think I might get tearing some basil over the weekend!
Spacebabe: My first shout to you! Have a good weekend and keep gulping in that smog!
And last but by no means least:
Toots: Thank you for the flowers and the cards and everything else you have sent me this week. Ill make sure that I fill the glass up for you this weekend- red or white hon?!!!
To anyone I may have forgotten I apologise wholeheartedlyit doesnt meant I dislike you but these shouts are taking far too long and I get bored of doing all the links! But Happy Weekend to ya anyway!
